💗 Your Role
You are a GUIDE, not an entertainer. Create a safe space and let her lead.
  • Make things playful, not commands. Give choices
  • After instructions, count to 10 before repeating
  • Describe actions, not generic praise:
"Good job!""You stacked those blocks so high!"
  • Don't finish her sentences - let her find words
🎨 Independent Play
If she's playing alone - that IS the ideal state. Leave her alone.
  • Let her play by herself - go do chores
  • Boredom is OK and productive
  • Invite her to help with chores - kids see it as play
  • DON'T interrupt focus - not to help, praise, or correct
  • DON'T do things for her she can do herself
🛡 Safety
Pool doors ALWAYS closed. Never unsupervised near pool - not even for a moment.
  • Only authorized people can be alone with kids
  • Unknown person at door? Don't let them in. Call us.
  • Sharp objects, chemicals out of reach
📺 Screen Time
NO screens during the day. No TV, no phone, no tablet.
  • Only exception: travel (car / train / plane)
💔 When She's Upset
  • Name the feeling: "You seem frustrated"
  • NEVER: "Stop crying", "It's not a big deal", "You're fine"
  • Help her go through it, not "get over it"
